That’s “ODD”…

If you look up “odd” in the dictionary, the following are some of the definitions associated with this word:

“…differing in nature from what is ordinary, usual, or expected: singular or peculiar in a strange or eccentric way: fantastic; bizarre…”

I would say that “…differing in nature from what is ordinary…” could easily be considered a positive, similar to being “unique”. Unfortunately, being unique is a problem, not just for society but especially for our controllers. Although “thinking outside the box” is a oft referred to as cool, it is in fact a trendy byline that has little merit. Because, although this is claimed to be a revered trait, the truth is rather different. Our controlled society abhors “different”. Compliance is the expected and the accepted default position. If we stopped swallowing the mass manufactured nonsense spewed incessantly from the media through the television, its owned delivery-system, well what on earth would happen? The mind boggles if we considered the demise of the Big Mac, for example. After all, Mc Donald’s sells around “…2.5 million…burgers a day, 900 million a year, across 36 countries…” according to Huffington Post. Then consider “…a Big Mac contains about 540 calories…nearly half of it (43%) is salt. It has 29 grams of fat – which is about half your daily allowance”. We wouldn’t want to stray from normal after learning this, now would we? Then add that we now have to deal with a really troublesome psychological condition officially known as “ODD” or “oppositional defiant disorder”. So, anyone who chooses to “resist conformity” can be labelled as bonkers. No doubt, there is a medication or treatment waiting in the wings for this little gem as we trust the psychologists who created this disease. The fact that many (greater than 70%) of the “experts” who create more and more phantom diseases that are listed in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), or the “Bible” of mental illness, have direct ties to the pharmaceutical industry, is of no importance. “The fact that 70% of the task force members have reported direct industry ties—an increase of almost 14% over the percentage of DSM-IV task force members who had industry ties—shows that disclosure policies alone, especially those that rely on an honor system, are not enough and that more specific safeguards are needed.” -Source: Lisa Cosgrove, The University of Massachusetts, Boston – 2009

“The so-called “condition” for why a person might choose to resist conformity has been labeled by the psychiatric profession as “oppositional defiant disorder,” or ODD. The new DSM defines this made-up disease as an “ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior,” and also lumps it in alongside attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, another made-up condition whose creator, Dr. Leon Eisenberg, admitted it to be phoney on his death bed.” -Found at:  by Jonathan Benson, April 2014 -The Warrior
