“Collateral Damage!”

Cluster bombs victims

“On November 20th 2006, Hassan was working carrying soft drink crates outside a store when he felt a powerful explosion. He was taken to the hospital in Tyre where his hand was amputated. Also, Hassan almost lost his right leg below the knee. The future for Hassan is dim; his family is extremely poor and cannot afford to pay $2000 for a prosthetic and mechanical hand that would help Hassan to live a more normal life. On the other hand, most international aid organizations will not support him because he is not a child, a woman or an old person.”
